Epicentre has been developing and organising training courses for volunteers of MSF's French section since 1987. These are now open to volunteers and staff from all other sections of MSF.

List of training courses

The following courses are organised by Epicentre in collaboration with MSF:

• Nutrition / Immunization
• Management of nutrition and immunization activities
• Response to epidemics
• Populations in precarious situations (PSP)
• Training of trainers (TOT)

Trainees

These training courses are organised for volunteers and staff of Médecins Sans Frontières. The number of participants per MSF section is determined at the beginning of each calendar year by the sections' training coordinators, according to their needs. Selection criteria for participants are included in the documents describing each course.

Trainers

They include:

• Members of the Epicentre team
• MSF staff or volunteers with a solid field experience in developing countries and expertise in a relevant domain
• Experts from other institutions (InVS, Cochin, Bichat, Shoklo Thailand, and others)
