Médecins Sans Frontières France requested a retrospective mortality survey in Guidan-Roumji District, near Maradi, Niger.  The objective of the survey was to evaluate the infant and child survival rates from 2002-2006 as part of an evaluation of the nutritional programmes run by MSF in the region since 2003.  The survey was carried out during the first two weeks of March 2007.  Data processing and analysis are underway.
